About Souk & Saffron
The world's pantry, one shelf at a time.
Souk & Saffron started with a jar of real Kashmiri saffron carried home in a coat pocket — and the discovery that nothing on the supermarket shelf came close. We buy spices and pantry staples the old way: in small lots, at harvest, from growers and millers we can name. Chillies are smoked over wood, not sprayed with flavour. Za'atar is blended in the hills where the herbs grow wild. Everything is packed at source or in our own kitchen, sealed tight and dated — because a spice shelf should smell like a market, not a warehouse. Cook one dinner with the good stuff and you'll understand the whole store.

Tell us the dish and we'll tell you the spice — and how much. Substitutions, heat levels, what to try first: ask away.
